Get Where You're Going
If you're anything like me, when you want an answer to something, you can become a little bit neurotic. You not only want answers but you also want to know now. Very often, I actually know the answer, but it's not the answer I want it to be, or maybe it's the answer I'm afraid for it to be. Nonetheless, we ignore or obsess over whether or not it is right.
You see, I think we start to blame circumstances and the way things are going on external forces when, truthfully, we haven't been doing what we know we should have been doing all along. We all have dreams inside of us. We all have places we want to be--emotionally, spiritually, physically. I also think we all have an internal voice that tells us what we need to be doing. But if we're not willing to do our part, how exactly can we expect the changes we want?
It's important to do our part so we can get where we want to go, where we need to go. Here's the thing: I need you to get where you're supposed to go, and you need me to get where I'm supposed to go. We're all affected when we aren't where we're destined to go. I believe that's true. So listen and act. You know what it is you need to do...for today anyway.
Photo Story: I guess there isn't one this week. I love Kansas City, and I love its skyline. It brings my heart Joy. That is all.
P.S. We have a group on Facebook with a fun group of (mostly) girls that give great insight. We started a discussion about skincare products today. You can find it here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/236672080181915/
