GOAT: Antoni Gaudi

Okay, maybe not the greatest of all time. I don't think I'm qualified to make that call as I don't know much of anything about architecture. But, I do know that I've never seen anything like Gaudi's work in my life. His work is insanely distinct and original, and feels like something straight out of a fairytale. He incorporates rounded features, colorful mosaics, and nature into his work. He was and is a true Spanish gem.

We visited several of his works in Barcelona, including the Sagrada Familia, La Pedrera, and Casa Batllo. The Sagrada Familia was by far the most impressive building I've ever seen. The cathedral is set to be finished by 2026. So, I obviously have to return to Barcelona in 10 years.

Gaudi did everything with such perfection and greatness, which is why thousands of people are still working to complete his vision and why millions visit this site every year. Everyone should see the Sagrada!
