Clear Decisions
We make decisions for all sorts of reasons: because we're nervous, because we're excited, because we're scared, because we think we need to. It's important to know why and from where we're making decisions. In fact, I believe we should not make decisions from anywhere but peace. And sometimes it is tough to pull off.
We feel this pull to make decisions quickly, but I think there are times we need to sit back and give it some breath. This can be difficult, especially when you're scared about something. Finding peace in the midst of fear takes some concentrated effort. But it can be done.
When we make decisions from a peaceful place, it produces more confidence that we made a good call, even when others don't agree. Sometimes the hard part is getting all of those other voices out of your head to reach the place of peace. Peaceful decisions produce clarity.
Refuse to be forced to make a call. Find your peace and live there.
Photo Story: This is the same story of most of my stories lately. This was taken in McDowell Mountain Preserve. We took an Uber there one morning to take a hike. It was beautiful. There is something beautiful about starting your day in that way. I probably start more of my days with some sort of walk.
