At The Crossroads: Goodness

Often, we talk about one another in relation to this term: good. But what is it? How can you tell when you're dealing with someone who is carrying goodness? How can you tell if you're someone described as good? 

Good has been watered down. Good is so much bigger than making all the right choices and never stepping on anyone's toes. Goodness is something that follows someone who possesses it. It consumes everything they do. Yes, it is a choice, but it becomes who they are after an accumulation of many choices regularly. 

The truth of the word good is a stance of honor. It is being in right standing. The treatment of this beautiful place, of these beautiful people flows from that goodness. It is listening for the right direction and going with it. It is looking all around you and responding in goodness, in excellence.

Goodness does not flow from the head; it flows from much deeper.
