You Are Good
Every day we should hear at least one little song, read one good poem, see one exquisite picture, and if possible, speak a few sensible words.
Johann Wolfgang von Goethe
Hear: King of My Heart by Steffany Gretzinger, Jeremy Riddle, Christine Rhee
Read: How Do I Love Thee? (Sonnet 43) by Elizabeth Barrett Browning
How do I love Thee? Let me count the ways.
I love Thee to the depth and breadth and height
my soul can reach, when feeling out of sight
for the ends of being and ideal Grace.
I love Thee to the level of every day's
most quiet need, by sun and candle-light.
I love Thee freely, as men strive for right.
I love Thee purely, as they turn from praise.
I love Thee with the passion put to use
in my old griefs, and with my childhood's faith.
I love Thee with a love I seem to lose
with my lost saints. I love Thee with the breath,
smiles, tears, of all my life; and if God choose,
I shall but love Thee after death.

Speak: No matter how rough the seas, no matter what is crashing around you, there is One who is always good. Whether or not you choose to step into that is another conversation. This is a great goodness in the world, and it is an option to be the flow of that goodness. There's always an invitation to know of that goodness.
Laugh: And trust me, the seas can get pretty rough.
